More Pictures of Collin Because He's Cute

Giant Collin.

Midget Collin

Collin and his friend, Bug.

Tranquil Collin. Love taking pictures of my kids. Can't say I'm very good because they never capture their spirit.

Fun at the Farmer's Market

Our town has a Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. The boys got balloon animals one day and enjoyed playing at the park. Adon with his green parrot that talks, because he is a pirate.

Collin wanted a ladybug that sat on his hand.

Double Russian Poppy of Some Sort

I was given this dead looking root from a local flower shop for free two years ago. I was reluctant to take it because I didn't know anything about it or have any real place to put it. Well I stuck it in a small corner of dirt next to our stairs. The first year it became green but not one pod blossomed. Last year a few little pink flowers popped open. This year we were able to enjoy its full beauty. The boys frequently commented on the big pink colored flowers. I wanted to catch a picture of how big and beautiful they were so I talked the boys into posing for me. The pictures don't do the plant any justice but next year I hope some one will come and see it for themselves.

Egbert Reunion

Up in Preston, we had a little get together with family. The cousins had so much fun. One minute they were pretending to be asleep, the next they were pulling faces like these. Collin, Adon, and Tate.

After a bit of coaxing, Collin had fun riding with Great Grandpa. Later we couldn't get him off.

Mommy and Collin enjoying a swing. Lots of memories with that swing.

Roasting marshmallows over a "real" fire. The kids loved it. All we had to do was make sure they didn't poke each other with the sticks.

With all the water that we have received in June there were quite a few of these "fairy" mushroom rings that popped up in our yard. Here is a random folklore picture.
Fairy rings also occupy a prominent place in European folklore as the location of gateways into elfin kingdoms, or places where elves gather and dance. According to the folklore, a fairy ring appears when a fairy, pixie, or elf appears. It will disappear without trace in less than five days, but if an observer waits for the elf to return to the ring, he may be able to capture it.

Christmas in June?

Ever get an overwhelming urge to make gingerbread houses? Well, Kadie and Kenny did and thank goodness they shared this with my boys. They loved it. Okay they loved eating the candy more but spending time with cool family was also awesome. Kadie and Collin were a team.

Adon and Kenny made this cool creation

Up close of Collin's and Kadie's "gingerbread" house before it got eaten.

The process. It was so awesome to watch this little group work together.

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow

Saying good bye is sometimes hard.

But Ryan and Conner make it look easy.

At least Lexie didn't cry this time.

We will miss our Arizona family. These two could totally be sisters.

Fun With Cousins

Small children love balloons. Sadly these are probably the only pictures of the kids playing together that I have from the whole trip. Hey I was having too much fun to take pictures.

Who ever thought to bring out some balloons to ease the goodbyes was genius.

Adon and a fake smile. But hey, still handsome.

Happy Father's Day

After we stuffed ourselvs with excellent food, we posed for a family picture so Kaide could put her hand on the mantle. Just so you know the newbie behind Kadie is her Oregon native boyfriend, Kenny. Sorry to everyone for taking so long at getting this picture out.

Connecting At Altonah

A chilly trip to Altonah, on Memorial Day weekend. But that didn't phase the Wilsons. We still had a blast. The boys are getting older now and really enjoy the pinata. Here is Collin beating the "scary" out of that spider.

Keep practicing buddy. Next year you get to wear the blindfold.

Papa Daryl and Collin

There is nothing like curling up with a good book with your blanket and your Papa. Nothing quite as cute either.

Memorial Day Weekend

So these pictures are a little out of order. We took the boys to go and see the family. We ran into a lot of people we knew at the cemetery. We also ran into some 6th cousins. Go figure. Adon and Collin at Great Grandpa and Grandma Collett's headstone.

Better Late Than Never

I don't know where June went, but it came and went so fast. Here is Aaron's 28th birthday. So what if we celebrated all week. At least we got a cake and sang to him. Love you so much sweetie!
