Collin is walking!

This was taken a few nights ago. He is getting better. He will stand up in the middle of the floor and take a few steps. He sometimes gets distracted and plops down. But then he will try to stand back up. Its so AWESOME!!!

My little artist...

Here is my little angel boy Collin drawing on a doodle pad. He is quite taken with coloring and drawing. I guess its becuase he sees Adon do it all the time. He will fight to get this doodle pad and loves it when I sit next to him and erase it for him. He is starting to walk but I have not been able to upload a video successfuly. I'll keep trying.

Playing with Emily

While we were in Vernal we were invited to a BBQ at Ty Jensen's home. It was wonderful to see friends we haven't seen in years. This cute little girl is named Emily Caldwell. She is the daughter of Elisa and Devin Caldwell. They became quick friends and played while the "adults" visited.
Aaron has some wonderful friends. Here is Richard Wallace and Devin Caldwell. I'm pretty sure these knees belong to Ty. Thanks Ty for a wonderful barbeque.

Adon is quite taken by Emily. What a couple of cuties!

Water Baseball

Yes, the Egbert family knows how to have fun!
Me showing off my mean skills at water baseball. Home plate was lined by a tarp wich you had to slide down, like a slip'n'slide.

Ryan and Heather with their game faces on.

The clan getting ready to play water base ball. The kids were cute and cheered us on from their own private swiming pool.

Smithfield Canyon

We had so much fun up Smithfield Canyon that we wanted everyone to come and check it out. So we came up for pizza and smores. It was beautiful.
Adon and Lexi carrying on the tradiditon of bubbles. Nana got the kids matching outfits. They kind of look like twins.

My sweetheart and me. Love you honey!

Pictures from Grandma's Funeral

No one from the CIA were presant at the funeral this is really Ryan and Conner. Cute guys.
After the grave was dedicated bubbles were passed around. Here is Adon and Alexis trying their hand at it.

It was pretty sunny and hot at the grave site but Collin managed to catch a few winks.

Lexi admiring the pretty pink flowers on Grandma Donna's casket.

Adon helped Mommy put a pretty pink rose on Grandma Donna's grave.

The Passing of and Elect Lady

Our Grandmother and Mother, Donna W. Collett joined her Father in Heaven July 7, 2009. She is now joined again with her husband Carl S. Collett who passed December 24, 2004.
We will always remember her love and generosity.

We will remember her cookies, her weenie roasts, and her Easter egg hunts.

Me.... I will remember her hummingbirds.

July 4th!

Some people really know how to party! Collin "ooed and awed" at the fire works. He was sooo tired by the time they started; yet he was all eye balls when they finally got going!
Ryan and Aaron cooked our hamburgers for my birthday dinner. I won't go into detail of Ryan's skills but lets just say two patties are missing in action. Thanks to all our friends and family and yes even the mutual friends that joined us for my birthday and to watch the fireworks. The more the merrier I always say.

Not everyone thinks sparklers are the bomb-diggidy; but Adon is just like his mom when it comes to lighting things on fire and watch them burn, pop, or explode. Ahh the joy of living in America!

Whats a party with out cake. Yep there are 25 candles on that baby, count 'em up! Adon decorated my birthday cake with the help of Dad! Way to go buddy!

I love being an American! I get choked up when the Star Spangled Banner comes over the raidio every day at noon. I love the fact that I can worship the way I please. That I can stay home and be a mom to my beautiful boys and love my husband who works so hard to provide for us. I love to see our Nation's flag flying with glory. We live in such a beautiful country with mountains, streams, fields, and blue sky. What a gift and an honor bestowed on us by a Loving Heavenly Father. Let Freedom Ring!

Camping Up Smithfield Canyon

Step #1: Get as dirty as possible. Eat dirt, rocks, roll in dirt, crawl in dirt, run...fall...scrape knee... in dirt. Get your DAILY DOSE OF DIRT!
Adon thinks camping so sooooo cool!

Our family went up to Smithfield canyon to go camping for one night. The boys slept in their own tent and did pretty well. (As long as Adon didn't roll over Collin, or Collin roll out of his sleeping bag). Mom made her first matchless fire thanks to Dad's "know-how"!

Aaron pulling this face looks like someone I've seen on the cover of a book. Any guesses?

Me with my morning hair, using my mean skills at making pancakes! Oh, they were yummy! What do you do in the summer time?

Living Planet Aquarium

Adam and Amber Wilson were in Sandy and invited us to go to the Aquarium with them. Here is the crew. Left to right: Kami, Drake, Skyler, Collin, Adon, and Josh. We love our cousins! In front of the anaconda tank.
Adon found Nemo!

Collin loved to look at the bright tanks. Auntie Moriann came with us. Mommy got to touch a sting ray for the first time! There was an octopus, sharks, lots of fish, eels, frogs, snakes, spiders, sting rays, bugs, and more! We had lots of fun!
