Coming Home

All things come to an end, but that doesn't mean you don't get to have fun coming home. On the drive back over the border, Adon iniciated Conner's new car by throwing up. (Only the second time in his life) Luckily we were able to clean most of it up and get to the airport in time. He was a little sick on the first plane back to Phoenix so we got some dramamine in hope it would help. Lets just say both the boys were out before the plane lifted off the ground and slept the whole way to Salt Lake.
Our happy boys being good sports when it comes to a long trip home. Home again, home again!

Beautiful Rocky Point

Here are some pictures from our balcony. This is part of the bay that sticks out of the ocean. I think this is where Rocky Point gets its nick name. The sunset really lights it up.
Straight down from our balcony, you can see the sweet swiming pool that the kids really enjoyed. Adon threw his shoes off the balcony. I didn't see him do it but we found them on the grass directly below our window (eight stories down). Luckily nothing else made the trip.

Our room with a view of the beach and Rocky Point.

The other side of the beach while the sun is setting. Pretty hu?

*FIREWORKS*

On our last night in Mexico Tracy and Zack got us some fireworks. We drove to some sand dunes (they're every where) and shot them off.
Not every one liked the fireworks.

Family Pictures on the Beach

Fake it till you make it. Some pictures were just plain silly! My favorite!
This isn't my favorite picture that we took of Ryan and Heather but hopefully they will post it on their blog. Matchy Match!

Can't have a family vacation where everyone is there and not have family pictures. Marcy had the great idea of getting matching shirts and it turned out great!

Beautiful family in a beautiful place!

Here we all are in Mexico June 2009. Hey look! Most everyone is looking at the camera! Not an easy feat I must add.

Swiming at Sonora Sea

On top of having such a beautiful beach to play on, there was an awesome swiming pool at our resort. Sometimes it was nice to get out of the sand that seemed to stick to everything. Plus the kids seemed to like not having the waves knock them over. Here is Adon, Aaron, Collin, and Carly along with Conner's (the photographer) feet.
I love my camera! Here are some sweet action shots that we got of the guys jumping into the pool. The fuzzy part of the pictur is something on my lense probably a water droplet.

Now that is intense!

Adon and Dad chilin' in the pool catching some rays!

Grandma with her grandboys in the "hot" tub that wasn't very hot but warmer than the swiming pool. I think Collin liked this one the best.

Our Vacation in Mexico

This is the group that went on the banana boat. I personally didn't love it but most had fun. We had a small wipeout and some people fell off. We had such awesome weather the whole week.
Here is a picture of Grandma Egbert and Adon looking off the balcony. You could see the whole beach from our balcony as well as rocky point and the sunset. We stayed at the Sonora Sea thanks to Tracy and Susan's hospitality. They were very nice and we felt very spoiled.

Papa was a good sport and let us burry him in the sand. Here is Adon giving papa a kiss.

Our family on the beach while the tide is out. We all had hats on to avoid getting sun burned. I was the only one to get sunburned but it wasn't too bad. We had a blast!!

Grandma, Heather, Marcy, Adon, Lexi, Ethan, and Collin; playing in the sand while the tide slowly came in and filled their hole with water. Gotta love the beach and the ocean!

Getting to Mexico

The "cool" car. The back seat of the Acadia was turned into a baby sitting machine. Snacks, toys, movies, blankies, juice...the works. Just so that we could get across the border to Mexico. The kids were really good especially for such a long trip. Adon, Alexis, and Ethan in their cool sunglasses.
Adon LOVES airplanes. Here we are at the airport (we went to three so I don't know wich one this is) with Papa Egbert watching our plane get gassed up.

The kids did really well on our flights to Phoenix and Tuscan and some even caught a few Zzzz's.

Our flight attendant was kind enough to take a picture of our family on our very first airplane ride to our very first family vacation to Mexico! We are all very excited.

Even before we got to the airport we rode a bus from the parking area to the Salt Lake Airport. Adon thought it was way cool to sit in a grown up seat on a big bus. Check out that grin!

Happy Birthday Aaron

Here is Aaron at 18 months old. I think its around Christmas time because that is a tree in the background. Isn't he cute?
I love this picture of Aaron holding a baby minature horse. Age 10?

We celebrated Aaron's birthday on Sunday with good food and family. Moriann and Justin came over for food and games. Adon helped Mom light the 26 candles and he also helped Dad blow them out. Happy Birthday to my Eternal Main Squeeze!

Boys + Fun = Cute Pictures

My boys are so much fun. They have such different personalities, yet FUN is always the common denomintor. Here is Adon playing "underwater". He had taken all the bedding and put in on the floor to and laid down with his head in the shoe bucket. Then he would talk with his frog about how great it was to be underwater. So funny!
Collin and I love to play on the bed. Its soft, so we can get a little more rough than on the floor. He wasn't the happiest when we were playing but then I put this getup on his head. He saw himself in the mirror and decided that this was a good look for him. He let me take a couple of pictures. Such a sweet smile!

Now its one accomplishment to get these two sitting close enough together to get them both in the picture. Its another whole feat to get them smiling at the same time. I LOVE MY CAMERA! Its great to be a brother!
