Altonah or Bust

We all walked down to the "frog pond" (aka the cow water hole) to catch some creatures. This was Adon's and Collin's first time so along came Mom with the camera. Adon got soooo muddy but had fun catching a few critters to put in his cup. He carried that little cup and critters all the way back to show the aunties.
Teeter Totter with Grandma and Grandpa Wilson

Adon got a chance to whack the pinata a few times. He loved the idea that candy came out of it and he will eat any candy. Mom helped a little.

Here is the Wilson clan swinging on the swings. Aaron, Carly, Collin, and Adon; with Grandpa Wilson helping push.

Collin had a blast. He fell asleep and we had him in the van until it started to rain and then he woke up for lunch and the auction.

Visiting Cousins In Vernal

This is Collin and little Evey. They are so close together in age but so different. Collin with his red hair and fair skin next to Evey's thick dark hair and deep deep brown eyes is such a contrast. Yet, you couldn't get two cuter cousins here sharing Grandma Wilson's piano.

All the boys enjoy Grandpa's hot tub creation. Not bad for $20. Adon loves it so much. Here is Bowen, Chandler, Skyler, Josh, Adon, and Grandpa enjoying a dip in the hot tub.

After the hot tub, Adon and Papa fell asleep. Adon hadn't taken a nap yet so I just let them sleep. How cute! Papa in his favorite chair and Adon with his favorite "b".

I'm no photographer but this is an awesome picture of Heather and her little girl Evey. Sooooo beautiful. I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA!

Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails....

My beautiful baby is now 13 months old. These pictures were taken just before his first birthday. He is learning so much and has eight teeth now with three on their way. He loves tooth brushes just like Adon did. I love it when he falls asleep on my chest listening to my heart beat. He is such a cuddly baby. I love his belly laugh when he is in a goofy mood.
Brothers for ever! Who could ask for anything more wonderful than a brother?

They loved sitting on this little chair togther. The photographer even got a picture of Adon kissing Collin's noggin. I didn't scan it but I have it in a big picture fram in our home. You should come visit and see it. It is so precious.

My little boy isn't so little any more. He is learning his ABC's and can count to 10. He loves to color, jump on the trampoline, catch bugs and throw rocks. He is so smart and is starting to put things together. I love listening to his little voice when he prays. He is a good boy and I love him so much. Adon is 31 months old.

Hiking Logan River

We found a fun little place that we could get close to the water and Adon and Dad threw rocks. Aaron showed off his mean "skipping rock" skills. Adon liked to get his feet wet and collected a few rocks in his pockets which I removed without him knowing I took his precious treasures. (rock in mid-air)
Cache Valley is very beautiful and it has a lot of fun trails for all sorts of hikers. We wanted to get some hiking done so we took the Saturday to do a family hike. I didn't know how well Collin and Adon would do or how far they would let us hike.

The Logan River trail is very easy. There are bikers and runners who frequent the trail. We only went in about a mile and a half until the kiddos were worn out. Here is Aaron helping some tired hikers home. It was such a beautiful day.

Eat Your Heart Out

Eat your heart out Conner and Ryan. This was my first fish I caugh at the Sportsman's Paradise. I haven't fished in over 10 years. I know its been longer than that since I've even caught a fish. I had so much fun! Dad said this fish was twenty inches and maybe 4 pounds. I took his word for it. :) They dont' run much bigger than that here. I'm holding it funny because I all ready dropped the slimy sucker once before we could get it on camera (its a rainbow not literally a sucker).
Yes, I know I look like I don't know what i"m doing but thats okay. Anyone can catch a fish with my dad showing them how. Here I am bringing one in. I was just glad to have caught any fish so I didn't really count how many we actually caught. Dad landed two right off the bat to show me how to hold my hands and to mend. Then I caught two right off the bat.

Two seconds after I hooked this fish, my phone rang. It was Marcy, I hurridly answered it, "hey, I just caught a fish, can I call you right back?" She was very understanding. I wanted to take my Dad fishing for his birthday but didn't know how to make it sound like a presant for him since he would be the one to take me fishing. He was okay with that. He said he would use any excuse to go fishing. Thanks so much Dad!

This was the biggest thing we caught that day. I hooked something in some deep water and couldn't see what it was. But it moved as I tried to bring it in. I got all excited that it was another good sized fish since it felt heavy. As it got closer I realized that it was this large, water logged stick. Ha Ha. Aaron let me borrow his collection of dry flies to go fishing. I lost two of his, one on a bush on one on a fish. I lost, two of dad's worms but hey, "we got to keep the fly shops in business." said Dad.

My First 5K

Hey all you crazy people out there. I just wanted to post one of my little accomplishments. Some of my teammates from Ulitmate looser talked me into running the 5k we had this weekend for Smithfield Health Days. So I got up at 6:30 and went to Mack park where wher took our family photos two years ago. I started in the back because I didn't want to get trampled. There was a 5K and a 10 K race. All the runners started out at the same time. Myself and three other teammates just did the 5K. We ran up the canyon a mile and a half and then turned around while the 10 K runners went on. I was so nervous for the run that I hadn't slept very well that night. We got started and I had my Ipod with me. Thank goodness. Hillbilly Delux was blaring in my ears when we started. I ran the whole way. I didn't stop, thanks to Kadie helping me get through that. I finished in 35 min. 29 sec. I was very surprised considering how slow I run. My number was 167. I finished 118th overall (there were a lot of people there) I wasn't the last one. As a matter of fact, I was the first out of my Ulitmate looser teammates to cross the line. Yay, me~! Kadie would always try to get me to do this stuff and I never would. Runners are crazy, and now I've caught the bug!

Ultimate Looser Update

Hey Everyone,
I know its been a few days since Friday weigh-in but here is how it goes. Our team is in last place :( Wich means that the ego senative trainers of our are changing things up a bit and doing more cardio compared to resistance training. Some of our team members have yet to loose any weight (after three weeks Hmmmm) So on Friday I lost 1 pound and Mom gained 2. Hmmmm. We still keep going. This saturday I'm going to do another bike ride 11.2 miles to the local farmers market. That is if the weather is cooperative. Its been unpredictable lately. This Friday we weigh in and get measured. If I loos 2 more pounds or any more inches I'll need new pants. :)

Collin Practicing Walking

Collin is practicing walking with his new birthday toy from Papa and Grandma Egbert. He needs a little help still but he is moving his stiff little legs better. He used to just inch along with his toes doing all the work. Way to go buddy. We will practice some more.

Adon is so sweet. He loves this little song that we sang for Aaron when he came home from the Priesthood session of conferance. He doesn't really sing it but he usually does the actions and shouts "joy" when prompted. Its just cute.
