Merry Christmas From the Wilsons

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

Dear Loved Ones,
Since I am the kind of person that needs my accomplishments to be ooed and awed at, I'm posting the picture of our Chritmas tree that has been visited by few people. I didn't send any message with our Christmas cards so here is a little update on how we have done this year.
Top 10 things we have learned this year...
10. Our new ward is so wonderful and kind to us
9. Enjoy your family especially when they live close becasue they may not always.
8. Don't make excuses for yourself
7. Always battle your demons
6. Control your money or it will control you
5. Don't be afraid to share your talents or fullfill your callings to the fullest of your ability
4. Short hair rocks!
3. Choose to be happy
2. Always reconect with your spouse and keep eachother laughing
1. Jesus is the Christ and our Father in Heaven has a plan for us and knows us individually so always better your relationship with your Father. Live in a way He would be proud.
We have been very blessed this year. We have added a new family member Collin James. We love living near our family and have really enjoyed being with them. We will miss them as our paths change. We love our new home and our new ward. I received a new calling in our ward, Primary Chorister. I am very excited and hope to do a good job. Collin is sittling up and rolling over but not scooting yet. He loves to bounce in his swing. Adon loves, trains, star wars, painting on the computer, drawing, books, coloring, playing outside, singing, movies, and doing ABC. He is so smart and I love teaching and playing with him. Aaron is doing well in his school. He is so close to the third license. He is doing very well with his classes and I am so proud of him.
We love all of you and hope the very best for all of you. Please keep in touch any way you know how and have a Merry Chirstmas.

Life is Like a Box of Chocolates

You never know what you are going to get. Good morning this Christmas Eve. I have a story to tell you. I put the boys down early last night and they slept really well until 8:30 am. Lucky me. Adon was up and wanted to play Star Wars "Dar Das" on the computer and a glass of milk. I went to check on Collin and the little clam was just kicking in his green pajama bag and happy in his bed. I picked him up and he was poopy. I had Collin in one arm and got Adon a glass of milk with the other arm. Smelling Collin, I figured it would be good to just put him in the tub. That was the best idea I had. I got the bath all ready for him and I unzipped the his pajama bag. Boy was that a mistake. Not only was Collin poopy, his diaper had failed. Now, I have been a CNA, a nurse, and a mother and I have seen many different disgusting things that people have done with their poop and at this time I was pretty grossed out. The boy kid was kicking and swimming in his poop. In every crevis, and between every toe, down his legs and up his back. Luckily he had his pajamas bag to keep it from going absolutely everywhere. And my wonderful little boy was just as happy as a clam the whole time, talking, and babbling, telling me all about it. So I just thanked him for the monstrosity that greeted me this Christmas Eve morning.

Olive the other Reindeer

Rachel sent Aaron and I a questionair over our email and Aaron filled out and responed to it while passing it on to me. One of the questions was asking if he could name all of Santa's reindeer. Here is his answer:

Slasher, Dancer, Prankster, Nixon, Committ, Cupid, Dander, Splitzin, Randolf, and Olive.

Maybe I was tired and needed some humor, but I was rolling with laughter. Yes, he still keeps me smiling. And I love him so very much. Thanks sweetie for the Christmas joke. Never heard that one before.

First Hair Cut!

Collin got his first hair cut. Sorry about the kinked neck I forgot how to rotate the pictures before I publish them onthe posts. I think he looks a lot like Echo's little boy Lynford. What do you think? He still is a little red head. I love it.

Do-Re-Mi's

Auntie Rachel gave me the suggestion to teach Adon Do-Re-Mi. Hepicked it up really quick. He can do it by himself but in this video he got a little help. Ya I'm pretty proud of my smart little boy.

A-B-C's

Adon is also learning his ABC's. I learned the ABC's in ASL to help him visualize the alphabet. He tries to recreate the letters with his hand like I do. He can do the letters e, s, r, and k very well without help. I'm also helping him spell his name. He likes to pretend he is writing and most of his current pictures that he draws look like attempted letters, small, and swirly.

1-2-3's

1-2-3's Adon is learning how to count. He does really good. Yet, when you want him to share his talent with others he sometimes gets shy. So here is a video for you to watch. Listen carefully, he speaks softly.

The day has finally come and Conner has graduated from Utah State University. Way to go big bro! We were all there to celelbrate, except for Kelsey. We are so proud of Conner and all his hard work. We are also so thankful for Marcy's extensive support to him so he could reach his goals and the goals for their family. We are going to miss them when they leave the valley for work.

Make Your Own Finish Line!

I owe Marcy BIG TIME for helping me get my blog back up and running. So speaking of running, I was able to get this video of Conner and Marcy crossing the finish line for the Top of Utah half marathon. I know that it was one of Marcy's goals to do this and I was so proud of them for doing it together. Way to go guys.

I reserve the right to have a shakey hand on the camera from excitement as well as a high, squeeky, basically annoying voice because that is what I have!

Our little boy is 2 !

Make a wish! Ready....set...BLOW!
Happy Birthday sweet boy. Kelsey made this cute sign that we used over and over again.

Look what I got for my birthday! Thanks Papa and Nanna.

A cake any mom would be proud of. I'd like to thank my boys for going to sleep early so I could get it done, and my aunt Randy who is so inspiring when it comes to cake decorating. She will be proud! P.s. this is my first attempt at fondant!

Our little BIG helper

I was helping mom get ready for conferance and I left the vaccume for a minute. When I got back my little "copy cat" was taking it out for a spin. He wants to be so big and do everything mom does, including cook meat on the stove and put on makeup. You will have to give me a call to get the rest of the stories.

"Splish Splash"

I'm ready for my close up

My boys love the bath tub!

Peek-a-boo! Such a cutie with those big eyes!

Grandma and Grandpa Egbert, Randy, and the Finches were on the phone listening.
Kadie had many friends there to support her.

Our boys are growing so fast!

Our boys are our pride and joy. We love them so much and are so proud of them.

Watering Plants

I had a little helper who loves to water things. He doesn't always water the plants but the rocks and the side of the house just seemed to need some water too. I loved these pictures so I blogged them before Carly got a chance. My second attempt at this blog stuff. (I really should be doing homework. Shh don't tell Carly!)

Seven Peaks

We had a fun time at Seven Peaks, Carly and I got a bit crispied on the shoulders but Adon seemed to love it. Adon finally got to the point where he wanted to go down the kiddie slides on Mom or Dads lap of course. He would also jump from the side of the pool into my arms. However we didn't get very many pictures. Being a water park and all with a digital camera. Collin stayed in the shade with lots of relatives to hold and love on him. We all took turns watching over Evey and Collin.
