Merry Christmas and God Bless

Here are my sweet boys. We were Secret Santa-ed. The gifts were in this huge stocking left on our door step. I know that times are tough for every one so I would like to say thank you to all who give to make other's holiday that much more special. Thank you.

Frosted Beauty

Pictures from my back yard.

Nature's way of flocking a tree.

Frosted close ups.

Our neighborhood cat, Carmel, climbed this tree just for me to take his picture; then he jumped right down.

There were two large catface spider webs in our back yard that were turned into glistening works of art by the icy air.

Adon wasn't too thrilled about how difficult it was to walk through the crunchy snow.

Cute little boy.

Splish Splash

Collin loves the bath. Its hard not to take some cute bum pictures.

Happy boy.

My Favorite Things At Temple Square

Adon (3) and the Christus. This angle was totally accidental. I love my camera!
The huge Christmas tree in the Joseph Smith Building. It is so tall that there isn't a tree topper or it would touch the giant chandelier right above it. I guess the chandelier is the tree topper.

The reflection pool. I don't remember ever having Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus ON the reflection pool but I loved it. Adon was curious about the lights floating on the water. Magic I say!

The lighted House of God. I love my camera. It was such a beautiful time to be on Temple Square.

This tree stands in the south/east gate at Temple Square. It is my favorite tree there. Last time I was here it wasn't even lit, so I was so excited to show Adon and Gracie my favorite tree. There are lights clear to the very top! This tree is a pine of some sorts and its twin (a deciduous tree) stands to the left of it in white lights. Symbolic you say? Probably.

Toy Story

We have been going through toys that the boys didn't play with much and Adon got into the bag and pulled out new treasures. He set his Mr. Potatoe Head and his "Mr. T-rex" on the table and had them talk and growl at each other. It really reminded me of Pixar's Toy Story. Here is little "Andy" with "Mr. Potatoe Head" and "Rex". He loves to play with his little toys. He likes to carry them around and have them talk to each other.

Didn't get enough turkey....

Apparently Aaron didn't get enough turkey this Thanks Giving so he decided that he wanted to make his own. He looked up a recipe off of the internet. He cleaned it and added spices. I cooked it. It was his first turkey he had ever made. It was very very good. There was rosemary and thyme and lots of butter. Oooo what a good chef I have for a husband. Way to go Sweetie!
