Better Late Than Never

I don't know where June went, but it came and went so fast. Here is Aaron's 28th birthday. So what if we celebrated all week. At least we got a cake and sang to him. Love you so much sweetie!

June 11, I ran my first 1/2 marathon, the Utah Valley Marathon. This picture is of me just about to cross the finish line. End time was 2:30:59. Yay ME!

Kadie got me into running so I thought it was fitting that we take a picture at the finish line. It was awesome for her, Kenny, Mom, Aaron, and my boys for being there to support me. Thanks for the pics Mom.

Adon and Aaron ran the last few yards to the finish line with me and it was so awesome to finish. Thanks to everyone. Next 1/2 is Aug. 29. Top of Utah or Bust.

Fun With Dinosaurs

While in Vernal, Ryan and Heather invited us to go to the Dinosaur Museaum. The last time we went....lets just say we didn't see much. Most of the time was chasing a smaller Adon and towing a smaller Collin. This time the boys were much interested in the museum.
Adon didn't want to get TOO close to the teeth.

As soon as we drove up to the museum, Collin could see the dinosaurs in the garden and he pointed and yelled "A-saurus Mom! Look A-saurus" He was totally excited.

Fishing In Vernal

For our trip to Vernal we got the boys fishing poles. They have little weighted fish that can be tied to the end of the line so the boys could practice casting.
Well, while in Vernal, the weather wasn't very cooperative to go fishing so we fished @ Grandma and Grandpa's house.

There are a lot of rules concerning the half wall so fishing over it was quite the novelty. They had fun....if you noticed they are all still in the jammies.

Flower Child

Sunshine brings flowers (even if they are weeds) But we had some really tall and big Dandylions in our field so I picked a bunch and made flower wreaths for the boys. Ya, totally girly but hey, they liked them.

Adon played the "Cowardly Lion" once he saw what he looked like. So funny.

Collin Has Gotten Into Puzzles!

Collin has recently decided that puzzles are cool. Here he is putting together a puzzle that he got for his birthday. He needed a bit of help the first time but...
The second time he got mostly done by himself before he got distracted.

Cardboard Wings

After watching a show about butterflies, Adon wanted me to build him some butterfly wings. So I grabbed some cardboard and string... but if any one asks they are Buz Lightyear Wings.
