Nothing Like a Good Back Scratch

Both boys were kind of tired but I found them cuddling with Dad. He was using his magic to charm them. Neither are asleep but pretty close to purring.

Happy Day

I had Aaron take the boys while I stayed home and taught a new violin student so the house would be quiet. When they came home they came bearing gifts. Flowers, sparkling grape juice, a Have a Happy Day card, and the boys each had a baloon. Aaron better be careful or the boys won't want to go to town with boring Mom any more.

Puddle Hoppin' Boots

I found a pair of rubber boots for my little guys. And they are a big hit. Its not much fun to be out in the cold when all you do is get wet and muddy and freeze. These awesome boots help my boys stay dry and then they can play longer. Here is Collin stuck in the mud but he hasn't quite realized it yet. Oh what fun!
Here is Adon stuck int he mud. "Help Mom, please"

Finally its a little warm outside that we only have to wear jackets. Its been warm and then cold off and on. But my boys can't get enough of being outside as you can tell!

Visiting Friends in Vernal

Meet Adam. This is Richard's and Jillena's 7 month old little boy. We were so excited to finally get to meet him while we were in Vernal. He weights more than my two year old. He has an amazing smile and a very cute coo/giggle.
Its so great to have the guys back together. Ty was there and Elliot was missed greatly. Thanks to Devin and Elisa for letting us meet at their house. We met the day before Elisa's due date for the birth of their little boy. As of this blog entery their new son was born this morning. Mom and baby are doing very well.

Aaron and Richard are helping Deving make a light for his at home photo studio. Great friends. It was so great to see every one.

Visiting the Bean Museum

While Aaron took a test the boys and I went to the Bean Museum on BYU campus. Randy and Jay met us there and when Aaron was finished with his test, we went to Brick Oven for lunch. Afterward we were able to go to Vernal for a relaxing weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Wilson.
I love the displays of the bugs. On the wall to the left of this display is a 4x5 foot display of butterflies of all shapes, sizes, and colors all arranged into a larger butterfly.

Adon and Collin loved this little nook in the museum because there were buttons that would make a narrator start to speak and lights to go on and off in different sections. Behind Adon in this picture was a bear from Alaska (one that Rachel has been wanting to see). The bear is standing upright and reaches to the ceiling. It is HUGE and I would never, ever want to cross its path.

Adon loves all the animals. He really liked these bug displays because they were just his size. He could get really close to the display.

Adon loved the animals upstairs. He was very interested in the yawning hippo. Even though Collin was with us he wouldn't hold still long enough for me to take a photo. He was in heaven to see all these animals so up close.

Making Tents

You create a whole new world when you make a tent. All you need are a few large blankets, a couple of chairs and some imagination. Here is Adon inside a tent we built.
Adon loves to take picture so I let him take a picture of me. Even though the tent was big only half of me could fit in while both boys were in. Its so much fun to play tent!

Collin loves to play tent but he really likes to tear it down. It takes all of my energy to keep Adon from pounding Collin every time he gets a chance to make the tent fall down. I try to keep him focused on having fun and that we can always build it back up when it falls down.

Clowning Around

Collin sure loves to pretend. One Sunday evening I snapped this picture. He likes to stick his feet in just about anything and this time Aaron and I couldn't stop laughing. We love you little buddy! P.S. Nana this is the shirt you bought Adon for his birthday!
