A little brother for Adon
Hey everyone! We found out that baby Wilson #2 is going to be a boy. At least that's what it looks like. So Uncle Conner, you were right. Every one else thought it would be a girl. Hey, we still have a neighbor who is set that its a girl and that the ultrasound is wrong. I have my suspicions too, but hey it leaves a surprise to possibly be had in the delivery room. We had to reschedule our ultrasound appointment and since I didn't want to wait until after Christmas to find out we had a late appointment and Aaron couldn't come. So I had the ultrasound tech not show me on the screen (because I can tell these things) and place the sex of the baby in an envelope. When Aaron came home that night around 10pm we opened the envelope and looked at the pictures on the disc the tech gave us. We then called everyone and tell them the news that Adon will have a little brother. The reason that i don't have any pictures is that I can't figure out how to take them off of the disc and put them on my blog. Maybe I'll have to corner Marcy to help me. Any way. Here is the good news. Everything is going well and I am officially in maternity clothing. Aaron even got me a new temple dress so that I would have room for my belly.

Temple Square Lights !!!
As a Christmas gift, Mom and Dad got us all John Schmitt conert tickets and we packed up the kiddlins and headed to Salt Lake City. His concert was very enjoyable even if Mom and Marcy think it was too long. I had never seen him perform before and it was great. Phil and Shannon and Tate were kind enough to watch Alexis and Adon while the "grown ups" were at the concert. Thanks goes out to them for doing that for us. After the performance we picked up the babies and went to dinner at the Trading Table where we stuffed ourselves with Utah's Origonal and then bundled up to go see the lights at Temple Square. We didnt' stay long because babies can only be good in the cold for so long. And we appreciate every minute. Sadly Aaron was unable to come to Salt Lake with us. He had to work and on top of studying hard for finals, he was sick and definately didn't need to be out late in the cold. So I remembered everything and we stayed up late talking about the trip. Here is a picture of all of us at Temple Square. In the picture of Adon and me, I am pointing to my favorite tree at Temple Square. Its the great big pine tree, usually decked out in red lights right by the east gate. I think it was on the front of an Ensign magazine once. This picture of Conner's little family was so cute, I couldn't help but put it up. Thanks Mom and Dad for the wonderful experience and for driving. :P
First comes love, then comes marriage, then....
Ryan and Heather have finally gotten married. Yes, we are as excited, but not as anxious and they are. It was a wonderful day in Vernal. It was cold and while we were taking pictures outside a soft, light snow started to fall. This cute picture of Ryan and Heather in front of the temple is cropped to avoid embarrassment for Conner. He was picking his nose in the back ground and I felt he probably didn't want that posted on the internet. I got your back Conner. Ryan and Heather's reception was at the Maeser Stake center. We had a nice dinner and Conner put together a slide show set to music. Everyone, including the babies were pinned with fresh flowered corsages and boutonnieres. It was a fun night full of picture taking. Here are a few that you may not have seen. We are so very happy for Ryan and Heather and wish the best for them.
Lets Eat TURKEY!!!
Hey everyone!!! Here are some pictures of Thanksgiving. I know you all were there with cameras flashing so I thought I would try to add a few you may not have. It was so very great to get together and my parent's home to celebrate and eat till we were stuffed and couldn't move. I was in charge of pie but not many people left room for a piece. You know who you are. It is so fun to see the great-grand kids interact, even if not much interacting was happening. They were too cute to pass up taking dozens of pictures. Adon wanted to help make sure that every one made it inside safely, especially Greatgrandpa Egbert. At least he refrained from throwing the walker down the stairs again. If you haven't heard the story, you'll hear it at the Christmas party. We are so greatful for all our many many blessings. We have so much to be thankful for and I am thankful for a time to share it with my wonderful family.
Happy Halloween
So its not really Adon's first Halloween, but it is Alexis's. Poor Adon was put through the torchure of getting makeup put on his little face. I said that if he got his first tooth by Halloween, he would be a jack-o-lantern. It happened! Adon's first tooth officially came in soon after his first birthday and he was a jack-o-lantern for Halloween. His little outfit says "babies gone batty" as a tribute to the Batty clan who we belong to. Even though Dad had to work and Adon was too little and slightly sick to go trick-or-treating, we all dressed up and posed for pictures. I'm a road (if you can't tell) with speed bump and passing lane. Yes, my tummy is starting to pooch out with baby #2. Aaron was a mountain man with animal skins and moccosins. Pardon my spelling. Earlier that week, we carved pumpkins and had our own little party with Moriann and her fiance Justin. We love Halloween!
Cake Eaters (aka Eeters-O-Kake)
When Aaron and I were married, my mom told us about the tradition of keeping the top of our wedding cake and eating it on our first aniversary. I don't know, its for good luck or something. So we kept our wedding cake top. We put it in our freezer and saved it. Well, time went by and our first aniversary came. Well, we also found out we were pregant and I was very sick. So the cake top got forgotten and pushed back further into the freezer. Well, our second aniversary came. We knew the cake top was there but again it was forgotten. Well, the Wilson clan moved to Logan and brought the cake top along with us in our little freezer. One day, very near our third aniversary, Aaron decided to defrost the freezer. And there in its little container was the reamins of an almost three year old wedding cake top. Well, we didn't want to throw it away and curse our marriage or something so....we opened the container. (insert scary music and a woman's scream here) Aaron was brave, Carly was uncertain, and Adon was innocent and unexpecting. So we all tried it. And we saved our marriage from any curse that may have fallen on us. Tip to any one who is getting married soon and wants to save their cake top. Eat it on your first WEEK aniversary, it will taste much better.

Adon Turns One!
Adon turned one October 1, 2007. I all ready scrapbooked some of his pictures but here he is looking festive in his birthday hat. He was spoiled by having two birthday parties. We threw him a party on Sunday so Dad (Aaron) could come and then we threw him another smaller party on Monday (his real birthday) so those who couldn't come to the first party could come celebrate with us. Grandma and Grandpa Egbert let us have the first party at their house. Grandma and Grandpa Wilson drove out to Logan to visit and help celebrate. Adon was showered by many wonderful presants, but when it came time to sing Happy Birthday he didn't think being the center of attention was too cool. He still to this day cries when someone bursts out singing the Happy Birthday song. Poor guy. Mom (Carly) made hime a cake in the shape of building blocks. We love our little guy. He is getting so big. He isn't really a baby any more. He even started walking good on his birthday. Happy Birthday little buddy.

ADON IS ONE!!!
Hello Everyone,
Adon turned one year old on October 1. Mom is slow at getting pictures on her blog for previous mentioned reasons. But she figures that its been long enough and she needs to get on the ball. Adon had a wonderful birthday. Grandma and Grandpa Wilson came to visit for a few days and Mom made hime a block birthday cake. He cried when we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him but that is okay. He received lots of beautiful presants and we want to thank everyone for them and also thanks for coming. We had a little birthday bash the next day with the people who couldn't come to the main event, like Moriann, Justin, Bonnie, and Becky. Thank you for joining us. Thank you again to every one who made this mile marker so special.

Meeting Big Blue
Our Stake had an opening social with pizza and Aggie ice cream. Adon was able to meet the Utah State mascott, Big Blue. He couldn't take his eyes off of him. He was not afraid at all and right before this video was taken, he was yanking on the blue guy's nose ring. Good thing its not real, that would have hurt. LOL
Announcement!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen! Adon has an announcement. He is going to be a big brother. Yes, we just found out! Some time in May the Wilson family will increase, hopefully by no more than one. But there is always the posibility. Ha Ha Ha. Spread the word and thanks for visiting our blog.

Altonah!
We went to Altonah for Labor Day and had lots of fun. We slept on the pavillion with our twin nephews Boen and Chandler. It was beautiful and warm. We were able to see our awesome aunts and lots of cousins. We love Altonah. Adon had his first sucker and was able to hit the pinata. We also stuffed ourselves to the max with all the Great Food! Thanks so much for having us.
Swiming on a Hot Summer Day
Adon and Dad went down the water slide at the Logan Water Park. It was a beautiful day. Conner, Marcy, and Alexis came with us. We had so much fun. The water was perfect and Adon and Alexis looked so cute in their new swimming suits.
P.S. Mom apologizes that she sounds like a police siren on the video. I haven't gotten used to the sound quality.
